Waterjet cutting

Processing heat-sensitive materials

We use waterjet cutting systems to process metals, heat-sensitive materials, and special materials which are not suitable for laser cutting. The material is cut with a waterjet that operates at a high pressure of approximately 3000 bar. Cuts and edges are dust- and gas-free, distortion is minimal, and there is no thermal impact.

Using the latest swivel head technology with automatic angle error correction and automatic angle generation, we can quickly and precisely produce contours and multi-dimensional shapes for workpieces up to approx. 100 mm. Your benefits

  • Because the cutting process does not introduce heat into the material, it can be used to cut heat-sensitive and brittle materials (e. g. fiber-reinforced plastics, stone, titanium)
  • The process can cut thick-walled metals
  • Cuts and edges are dust- and gas-free
  • The process can produce sophisticated contours and multi-dimensional shapes
  • Angle error correction creates rectangular cutting edges
